Name: Robin's Run
Description: Did you know, the first Robins was established in Thunder Bay? That's right! (It aint no timmies, but it will do the trick!)

Get your aircraft ready, and come on down to Winnipeg on the 20th! Fly between Winnipeg (CYWG) and Thunder Bay (CYQT) and enjoy some coffee and donuts at the same time.

**$50 in prizes available** | 1 Controller from Winnipeg will be entered to win, as well as 1 pilot who flies from CYWG - > CYQT or vice versa.

The event is open to any VATSIM member flying CYWG < - > CYQT in any aircraft allowed on the network, then after you complete your trip, you will be entered into a draw to win one of two Amazon gift cards worth $25CAD/$20USD. Additionally, for their hard work, one controller will also win a $25CAD/$20USD Amazon gift card. Please read the rules below for more details.

Date: Saturday 20 November, 2021 Time: 1900Z-2200Z (2pm-5pm Eastern Standard Time)

Contest Rules & Regulations:

1.) Prizes consist of 2 Amazon Gift Cards, in the winner's choice of $25CAD from amazon.ca or $20USD from amazon.com (cards can only be used on that country's website). 1 card will be awarded to eligible pilots and 1 card will be awarded to an eligible controller.
2.) Every pilot who flies an IATA/ICAO or a Virtual Airline callsign will be entered into a master list (Callsign, Name, VATSIM ID) that will be used to determine the winner.
3.) Every controller who controls during the event in the CZWG FIR will be entered into a separate list for the controller prize.
4.) Eligible flights must be completed (departure and arrival) within the scheduled event start and end times.
5.) Winners will be determined by entering all eligible VATSIM IDs into an online random number generator to select the winners.
6.) Winner determination will be done by the CZWG Events Coordinator and will be announced in the VATCAN discord server after the event is complete.
7.) VATSIM, VATCAN, CZWG FIR staff are not eligible to win a prize (this does not include FIR instructors/mentors that do not hold a staff position).
8.) Qualification of eligible entries will be at the final discretion of the CZWG Event Coordinator.
9.) In the event that a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 48h of being contacted, a new winner will be drawn from the remainder of the list.
10.) This contest is being run under Canadian jurisdiction. No purchase necessary for entry. Winners must answer a mathematical skill testing question in order to claim their prize.
11.) Residents of Quebec, Canada are not eligible. By entering the contest, entrants agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless VATSIM, its affiliated partners/sub-divisions,their advertising and promotional agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, agents, employees, representatives, successors and assigns from and against any injuries, losses damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from your participation in the contest.

In other words, pilots are not allowed to use call signs of their virtual airlines such as this imaginary example VAC1231 call sign for Virtual Air Canada because it requires real world IATA/ICAO call sign.  Am I correct or not??

Hello! Originally how we had set it up, you would be correct. However, I have since updated the event Rules and Regulations to allow this. Please have a read through them again. Thanks!
