Position Vacancy: Edmonton FIR Webmaster
The Edmonton FIR is currently seeking an individual with the necessary experience to help develop and maintain the FIR website.
Reports to: CZEG Chief & Deputy Chief
Developing and maintaining the FIR's official website
Maintaining an online presence on the network, and in FIR Discord channels, VATCAN TeamSpeak and forum
Frequently checking and responding to emails, as required
Any other duties assigned by the FIR Chief, Deputy Chief, and/or Chief Instructor
Be an active member of the network, in good standing
Be a member of CZEG, or be willing to transfer
Hold an S2 rating or higher
Experience with Object Oriented Programming (ex: C#, PHP, etc.)
Must be proficient with HTML and CSS
Experience with Laravel is considered an asset
Experience working with databases (such as MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willing to attend an interview
Useful Skills and Experience:
Experience working with REST APIs
Experience working with OAuth (preferably OAuth2)
Experience working with Git
Experience with the Laravel framework
Experience working with BLADE templating
