What happens to Toronto International Airport (CYYZ) when it closes its runways to all arrivals... All the minor airports within the FIR become alive! All overtime has been approved, and all controllers will be on hand to welcome all flights into and out of minority of the minor airports in the Toronto FIR.

 

CYYZ arrivals expect to be diverted to:

• CYXU
  CYKF
  CYHM
  CYTZ
  CYOW
  

All IFR and VFR are welcome and encouraged to take full advantage of the ATC coverage. Toronto Area Control Centre (CZYZ ACC) will be fully staffed to support the influx of traffic.
