Cold Lake to Comox

On a test flight in preparation for this event, one of our controllers with P3D v4 found that the UQQ DME was missing from CYQQ. This renders ALL of the TACAN and ILS approaches for Comox INOP for this simulator.

Does anyone know of a fix available for this?

(Another controller tested X-Plane 11 and it was ok.)

Do you mean P3D depends on the Airac for approaches? I thought approach aids were in the scenery?

I’m not too worried about whether UQQ is rendered on the scope. I’m concerned about pilots being able to fly approaches in IMC.

No. P3D and FSX navaid data is in the base files.

There is a separate program called FSaerodata that will take the Airac data from Navigraph and edit into the P3D data. However if UQQ is not in the Airac data, as Richie says, then it won't be edited into P3D when you run FSaerodata.

There are Navaid update packs from aero.sors.fr that update FSX and P3D navdata, however it is based off the current Airac as well so I do not know if it adds/updates UQQ.
