Jeff McMillan
YYZ-CYUL/Back to School Crossfire A New Crossfire! Montreal/Trudeau vs. Toronto/Pearson. It's time for a cross-FIR border shooting spree. See which airport can fire off more flights at its rival within the 3 hour event. Each completed flight will earn the departure airport a point. Come and support your favorite airport and score as many points as you can. Or maybe just see how many times you can fly back and forth within the 3 hour window. With fully staffed facilities on both sides of the border and a steady stream of traffic in between, there's no better way to spend a Saturday night! Preferred Routings: CYUL-CYYZ: BOBKI MELTI TORNI RAGID5 (Jets), KESKA SAVEX KANUR TUKIR UDNOX5 (Props) CYYZ-CYUL: DEDKI4 MIGLO HABBS4 (Jets), BOMET7 MIGLO HABBS4 (Props) Jeff McMillan (1275572) CZQM C1 Controller jeffreyamcmillan@gmail.com
Michel Robichaud
This is a great and exciting event! Kudos to those who organized it. However, I'm surprised that it is announced only 4 days in advance (or did I miss something?): not much time for both FIRs to prepare, and to advertise among pilots… Also, considering that this is one of summer's last Long Week-end, we might not see a huge attendance because many will be away camping, visiting friends and/or relatives (like me) or even moving back to College/University... Again, great event, I hope it will be repeated in the near future… and announced a little bit earlier so we can make arrangements to attend! Michel. Pier-Luc Plamondon
As Michel said,it's a great event, but do the announcement 4 days before the event is way too short for planning. Have fun guys maybe I'll be there at the next one. Pier-Luc Plamondon Chief Instructor/Chef Instructeur Montreal FIR
