Hello All,

It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement today.  As of last night, I informed Brendan that I have made the decision to resign from my position as Chief Instructor for ZYZ.  This is not a decision I made lightly or easily, but I feel it is the appropriate time for me to step back.  I simply do not feel the passion and drive I had all that time ago when I took over this role.  Therefore, I feel it is time to step aside and let someone else take a run at it and see what they can do.  I will remain as CI for the time being, until a replacement is found and brought up to speed, and I will be remaining in the FIR as an instructor to help achieve the new CI's goals.  I have had the pleasure of serving as CI for the past 2 1/2 years and am proud of the work done by the entire instructing staff and feel like there is a bright future ahead for training in ZYZ.

To the instructing/mentoring staff, thank you all for everything you've done, it was truly a pleasure working with you as your CI.  I look forward to continuing to work along side you all as a fellow instructor.

I am truly honored to have being hand picked by Dean & Phil to oversee training and trying to fill the gigantic shoes left behind by Phil and for having served in this role for as long as I have.  Thank you to Josh and Brendan for allowing me to continue in the role when they both took over as FIR Chief respectively, and for believing in the vision I had for the training program.

Ben Stevenson
Chief Instructor
